Mitchell Kern

Mitchell is A195 Capital's co-founder and managing partner. After building and selling VEEV Spirits, Mitchell and his brother Carter co-founded A195 Capital in 2016, designing it as the firm they would have wanted as founders. A195 Capital has since backed 18 unicorns at seed or Series A and ranks #3 globally by HEC Paris–Dow Jones. Before A195 Capital, Mitchell was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and co-authored the bestselling Shortcut Your Startup. He serves on the boards of Arena Club, Lifeforce, Thrive Global and US Soccer Federation and Foundation. He is also actively involved with YPO, the Los Angeles Mayor's Office and LA Opera.
